Rail Extension Feasibility

Sadler Brown were appointed to carry out network extension feasibility, providing additional line for both Metro and Local Rail extension within the North East.

The scope of the project will broadly follow existing or redundant railway alignments and provide a total of 10 potential extensions.

The project includes feasibility studies to determine the best locations for new halt and interchange stations. Further stages will include the technical feasibility and operationally feasibility for the construction of an interchange.
