Grand Designs

After 4 years of hard work Stefan Lepkowski and family have finally moved into the house, allowing Grand Designs to complete filming of the project for television.

The design, a collaboration between Stefan and Kevin Brown, sits well into the landscape , affording some spectacular views of Northumberland. The approach was essentially to reproduce another traditional stone  ‘mill building’ away from the existing and provide a modern section in between. This admittedly rather large house suits Stefan’s growing family. Stefan is delighted with house – in particular the chunky, unashamedly modern infill.
