Next Phase of Ashwood Business Park unveiled at UKREiiF 2026

20 May 2026

The next phase of the masterplan for Ashwood Business Park is to be unveiled at UKREiiF 2026, highlighting a major opportunity for industrial, manufacturing and energy  investment in Northumberland.

Ashwood Business Park is a 62-acre development site with Enterprise Status, located in South East Northumberland with great connectivity throughout the region, offering prime employment land opportunities. The masterplan developed by Architects Group, in collaboration with Advance Northumberland and with guidance from HTA Real Estate and Knight Frank, will be presented to investors at this years leading real estate and infrastructure forum.

The site is strategically located in Ashington with direct connections to the A1(M) and A19 via the A189 as well as having easy access to the Port of Blyth and Newcastle International Airport. The site is already home to Akzonobel’s state of the art sustainable paint manufacturing facility, as well as Bernicia Homes and Contec. A EuroGarages petrol station, Subway and Starbucks bring facilities and amenities to the site, whilst a woodland walk and cycle track ensure positive employee wellbeing. With 32 acres of employment land remaining, the business park offers endless opportunities for growth, development and investment in the region.

Architects Group have worked closely with Advance Northumberland in designing a possible masterplan vision for the site, bringing ideas for what the future could look like to investors and tenants and ultimately shaping the masterplan that represents significant economic investment in the region. Through their advanced BIM design services, Architects Group have taken the masterplan from an idea to a vision of the future.

Ashwood Business Park will be presented at UKREiiF 2026 by Advance Northumberland.
