Design North’s Hypercave featured in Autocar Best of 2024!

Design North, the interior design branch of Architects Group have been featured in Autocar’s 2024 Christmas Special. The car magazine’s ‘Best of 2024’ features a story on Hypercaves, a brand and concept developed by Design North to create bespoke environments for the storage, presentation and exhibition of private luxury vehicles. So far, they have been commissioned to design Hypercaves in several UK locations and one in the UAE, with more in the pipeline.

The idea behind the Hypercave evolved from the ‘man cave’ concept, elevating it to another level. The clients who commission this type of work see their vehicles as not just modes of transport, but pieces of art and want a gallery-like space dedicated to displaying their fantastic motors.

The Hypercave provides a unique and luxurious space for vehicles with custom designed lighting and environmental conditions, as well as turntables and car lifts, accompanied by a host of other features such as a gym, bar, lounge, gaming area. One completed project is solely powered by renewable technology generated on site and is used to house and display an array of luxury electric cars.

A self-confessed petrolhead, Design Director Scott Stewart is thrilled with the progress the Hypercave brand has made in 2024, and can’t wait to set to work on further development and commissions in 2025!
