Architects-Group Are Transforming Grey Street

Architects-Group & Design_North are transforming Newcastle’s iconic Grey Street.

The architecture and interior design group have recently completed design commissions on a number of the streets breath-taking buildings, on what is referred to as one of ‘the UK’s most beautiful and photographed streets’.

Grey Street, which runs from Grey’s Monument to Mosley Street in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, provides thousands of city centre visitors entertainment and hospitality venues at their best, along with many Grade-A workspace solutions for a variety of the north east’s leading businesses. Our groups influence can be seen throughout many of buildings along the street, from the Churchill House Buildings at the southern end, to the new Flagship Newcastle Building Society Branch at the very top.

Projects in between include interior designs and façade retentions for Earl Grey and Norfolk House, a refresh and rebrand of the previous Lloyds Bank, and most recently the stunning interior design for hospitality spaces within the Theatre Royal’s ‘100 Grey Street’ pop-up café & bar. Beyond Grey Street, situated within both Grade I & II Listed buildings and Newcastle’s Central Conservation area, designs are also being prepared for developments on Mosley Street, Pilgrim Street and Collingwood Street to create a number of new restaurants, bars and aparthotels.
